Contract Types
Manage contract types in fleet master to categorize agreements related to employees, vendors, or assets for streamlined compliance and record-keeping.
Viewing and Adding Contract Types
- Go to the Attributes Management section in the sidebar.
- Select Contract Types from the list of attribute categories.
- Click Add New Contract Type.
- Enter the contract type name and click Save.
Editing or Deleting Contract Types
- To edit: Click the Edit button next to a contract type, update its name, then click Save.
- To delete: Click the Delete button next to the contract type you want to remove.
Best Practices
- Use clear, descriptive names (e.g., Full-Time, Part-Time, Freelance, Lease Agreement).
- Keep naming consistent across modules to avoid confusion.
- Periodically review the list to remove obsolete or unused entries.

Classifying contracts helps with filtering, reporting, and applying role- or duration-based rules in workflows.
