Project Initialization Approval

Review and approve predefined project assignments to fleets before activation.

Banner During the Initialization Phase, predefined projects are assigned to selected fleets or fleet teams. However, before these assignments become active, they must go through an approval process.

This ensures accuracy, accountability, and authorization in project deployment.

Purpose

The approval step helps:

  • Validate that the correct fleet or team has been selected
  • Ensure managerial oversight before activation
  • Allow rejection with reasons in case of mismatches or pending requirements

Approval Workflow

  1. Pending Approval

    • All newly mapped project entries appear in the Project Approval Page
    • Fields shown:
      • Fleet Name
      • Project Name
      • Assigned Date
      • Assigned By
      • Remarks (if any)
  2. Approve / Reject

    • If approved: the project becomes officially active and visible in the execution process
    • If rejected: the record is returned with a rejection reason; no impact on fleet data

Linked Modules

Once approved, the project is linked with the following:

  • Project Execution → Under Execution of Projects
  • Project Timeline → Appears in upcoming schedules
  • Execution Module → Can start once both assets and projects are approved

Notes

  • If a project is rejected, the assignment must be reinitialized
  • All approvals are logged for audit history
  • Project once approved cannot be reassigned without a new approval cycle
  • then it moves to execution phase

Best Practice:

Always validate asset readiness before approving project assignment to ensure smooth deployment.
