Uniform Type Variations
Manage uniform type variations in fleet master to define subcategories or styles of uniforms based on weather, duty shift, gender, or department-specific needs.
Viewing and Adding Uniform Type Variations
- Go to the Attributes Management section in the sidebar.
- Select Uniform Type Variations from the list of attribute categories.
- Click Add New Uniform Type Variation.
- Enter the variation name (e.g., "Summer - Driver", "Winter - Technician", "Female - Office") and click Save.
Editing or Deleting Uniform Type Variations
- To edit: Click the Edit button next to a variation, update its name, then click Save.
- To delete: Click the Delete button next to the variation you want to r emove.
Best Practices
- Use meaningful variation names that clearly indicate the context (e.g., "Night Shift - Mechanic", "Summer - Female Admin").
- Align variations with existing uniform types for consistent assignment.
- Regularly audit variations to avoid duplication and outdated entries.

Uniform type variations can be linked to employee roles, regions, or seasonal uniform issuance.
